Alfajer is actually a god. Fnatic does it again in picking up an insane player, Derke + Alfajer is scary stuff
It’s also cool to see talent from the VRL’s come out and get a chance in the main circuit. (Also he’s only 16!)

I’m not sold on the Derke Chamber quite yet, but let’s hope he can improve. I still think he’d be better on entry but let’s see.
Its easy to overlook because of alfajer but enzo really played well too, kinda crazy both new players were 1st and 2nd in the team

If the purpose of the rosters change was to reduce the reliance on Derke, we could not have done a better job. Alfajer is a gem

NAHHH ardiis got valo’d by the viper smoke spread on the last icebox round. Spreads higher for a fraction of second just to allow Alfajer to cross unnoticed and one tap him, unlucky

Was icebox the first map played without a duelist on both sides? Icebox is really the only map where zero duelists consistently works.
FPX’s ascent team comp is by far the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. Kay/O and omen are the only really meta agents for that map. KJ/Sova/Jett are much more used than the other three. But hey, it worked out really well. I still feel Sova ascent is much better than fade
Interesting to see both teams not play Jett at all. I do expect to see a lot more Raze on Ascent (TSM for instance has been doing it) given that her utility is pretty good on that map, and with the changes to Jett dash you can’t hold wide angles in B or A main with the op. But I still think she’s good on Icebox if the team roles work for it, and is a better entry than a Chamber or Kayo. It’ll be interesting to see if teams completely shift away or not.
Putting their main duelist on chamber and having some one else capable of raze on her instead. It isn’t such a wild concept, unless you’re the red team.
