This is a “common” modification culture in Japan, making cars look slightly or significantly like other cars. I don’t know the name of the culture nor do I know much about the culture in itself but it is a thing that I see often on the internet. Look up Mitsuoka Motors if you want, they’re most famous for a body kit for a variety of models that make them look like 30’s Mercedes or something, and most recently a C2 Corvette Stingray Miata.
Edit: I just realized how far I strayed away from OP’s post in my comment, I just really admire Mitsuokas and felt compelled to talk about them lol… anyways, car culture in Japan is wild
I like it. I hate when people build kit cars on a Fiero or Vette then desperately want people to think it’s legit. The person that built this knows it’s tongue in cheek, and silly fun.
