  1. Friendly reminder that Mo Brooks wore a bullet proof vest to work on January 6th. Now legally speaking we’d need to confirm that that wasn’t a habit for him but generally speaking, you have to wonder what he knows if he did that *and* asked for a pardon for his role afterwards.

  2. Gaetz asking for a general pardon make me think he was hoping to cover his ass on the election front as well as the pedo front.

  3. If they didn’t do anything wrong, why would they need pardons?… oh, that’s right, they did…

  4. 14th Amendment of our constitution? Section 3.
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.

  5. “The only reason I know to ask for a pardon, is because you think that you’ve committed a crime.”

Of course all the usual suspects on this list and I’m sure more familiar names are out there if there’s any written communications on it.

  6. Why isn’t every one of them being forced to give a statement under oath? Here’s an extensive list of questions to ask after swearing them in:
    1. Did you ask for a presidential pardon?
    2. why?

  7. was checking for the rep from my state, Boebert, but I imagine she was too dumb to ask for a pardon like her more crime savvy colleagues.

  8. “If you’re a Republican, you can’t even ask for a pardon or they’re coming after you.”

  9. The tip of the iceberg of elected domestic terrorists who have been actively working to destroy our federal government for their entire careers.

  10. > “All I know is if you’re innocent, you’re probably not gonna go out and seek a pardon,” [Kinzinger] said.

    *shrugs*

    Exactly. This isn’t rocket science.

  11. . . .The members *so far.* I am really hoping we can augment the list with Johnson, McCarthy, every other member of the freedom caucus . . .

  12. The best part about this is Trump screwed them all, welcome to being a contractor on working on one of Trumps projects and submitting an invoice. He’s been pulling this shit since the 80’s like Wham, GoGo girls, Tears for Fears era. How are they all so dumb.
